I’ve recently had this experience brought home to me as an educated Indian woman born in Canada, living in the states. Still naive enough to believe my intellect, integrity and honesty would trump my skin color or name. I’ve experienced racism from a variety of sources more times than I can count. The depths of human depravity never cease to amaze me. I really wonder what kind of legacy we will leave our children, and children’s children.
